Gateau Festa Harada is a well-known manufacturer with its head office located in Takasaki City in Gunma Prefecture. Their popular, signature rusk snack, Gouter de Roi, which means “snack for a king”, is made of French baguettes using their original blended wheat recipe.
The snack is made of sliced French bread evenly spread with a high-quality melted butter. With its crispy texture, moderate sweetness and flavorful butter, creates a sophisticated taste.
In addition to this most cerebrated product, they produce many other types; a cacao rusk made of French bread with kneaded chocolate and ground cacao beans; a healthy rusk made with the least butter possible; and a sandwich gateau rusk with raisin cream; a savory rusk which goes well with wine.
