Try a local Takeo burger made with branded Wakakusu Pork.

Last update :

This stylish burger spot sits west of JR Takeo-Onsen Station, right on the way to the hot spring district. With roots in a family butcher shop, the owner serves the local specialty “Takeo Burger,” made with Takeo’s branded pork, Wakakusu Pork.

The highlight is the sauce, an original recipe developed through plenty of trial and error to pair perfectly with the meat. It’s simmered for four hours with several fruits and red wine until thick and fruity. The one-of-a-kind flavor matches beautifully with the blended patty of domestic beef and Wakakusu Pork.

The most popular item is the Cheeseburger. There are 11 burgers total, including the Loin Katsu Burger made with Wakakusu Pork loin from Wakaki Town, Takeo City. The menu also includes plenty of sides and other dishes like loco moco and jerk chicken. The tropical mango tea for just one coin is also recommended.
