Supervised by :  Mikawa Craft Glass Museum

More than just a place to display glass artworks, this museum offers dynamic exhibits using light and sound. In particular, the must-see lineup of innovative installation works includes the giant kaleidoscope “Sphere,” certified by Guinness in 2000, and “Four Seasons,” a sculpture-mirror room covered entirely in mirrors. Its signature style is “from viewing to experiencing,” letting you blend into the artwork yourself.

Since allowing photography in 2018, the museum has quickly become a buzzworthy, photogenic spot. However, bringing in DSLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, selfie sticks, and tripods is not allowed, so shooting with a smartphone is recommended.

The glass-making experience courses are also popular, where you can create a variety of works such as sandblasting, stained glass, and kaleidoscopes. The experience time is Approx. 2 hours, and an “Easy Course” that can be done in 1 hour is also available.
