Last update :

A 63-meter-tall white building that immediately catches your eye when you visit Garden Pier at Nagoya Port. Its unique exterior, designed to resemble a white sailing ship, is known as a landmark of Nagoya Port.

On the top 7th floor is the Observation Room, offering a sweeping panorama from 53 meters above ground. To the south, you can take in the open scenery of Nagoya Port, while to the north, you can look out over the high-rise buildings around Nagoya Station. On clear days, you may even be able to see the majestic ridgelines of the Suzuka Mountains and Mount Ontake in the distance. In summer, limited-time evening hours let you enjoy a luxurious 360-degree view of the glittering nightscape.

On the 3rd and 4th floors is the Nagoya Maritime Museum, where you can learn about ports, ships, and the sea through Nagoya Port, one of Japan’s largest international trade ports. Popular attractions include the Mock Bridge and Ship Handling Simulator, which realistically recreate a ship’s bridge using an actual steering wheel, radar, and other equipment.
