Kanazawa M'za

A long-established department store that opened in 1973 and took on its current name, "Kanazawa M'za," in 2021. Located in Musashigatsuji, a 10-minute walk from Kanazawa Station, it is easy to access and attracts not only locals but also many tourists.

From the basement first floor to the 8th floor above ground, the store is filled with a wide variety of shops offering fashion, miscellaneous goods, gourmet food, and Ishikawa's traditional crafts. It meets a wide range of needs, from everyday shopping to souvenir hunting.

A highlight not to miss is "Kuromon Koji" on the 1st floor. Located directly across from Omicho Market, known as Kanazawa's kitchen, this select shop for food and crafts recreates the charming streetscape of the old castle town of Kanazawa. In addition to displaying and selling a wide variety of traditional crafts passed down through generations, including representative Japanese works created by Living National Treasures and recipients of the Order of Culture, it also offers Kanazawa's famous sweets, local sake, and items featuring cute arrangements of traditional crafts.
