AFURI Ebisu is all about the yuzu shio ramen. The broth is so light and refreshing you’ll want to drink every last drop.
The subtle yuzu aroma is a big plus, and I think a lot of women would love it.

Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple has such a unique exterior. At first glance I thought I’d stumbled onto an Indian temple.
It’s totally different from typical Japanese temples, and the architecture really sticks with you.

Even though it’s packed with tourists, the food is genuinely delicious.
It’s not cheap, but the quality is solid, so I can live with it.

Imado Shrine is so cute—there are maneki-neko everywhere, and I couldn’t stop taking photos.
A lot of people come here to pray for love, and I’ve heard it’s pretty effective!

It’s covered, so you don’t have to worry about snow or rain—such a big plus when you’re here in winter.
There are drugstores everywhere, which makes it super easy to compare prices. Definitely check out a few.

It was below freezing outside in winter, but the underground arcade was super warm, so shopping around was really comfortable.
There are quite a few local brands, and it doesn’t feel like everything is touristy, which makes it fun to hunt for good finds.
When you get tired, you can just grab a seat at a cafe for a bit. The layout is easy to follow and not too confusing.

  • It's not very fast, so the slow ride feels like a mini trip. It gets a bit hot in summer, but the beautiful views are totally worth it.

  • Every eel restaurant in Japan has its own special sauce, and they're all delicious.

  • Authentic handmade udon noodles! Pairing them with tempura and sipping the broth was delicious and affordable. So tasty! 😋

  • There are so many kinds of animals here! Watching the pandas eat was super cute. Besides the land animals, there’s also an aquarium with marine animal shows.
