Founded in 1945, Hanaya is a beloved local establishment currently operated by the third-generation owner. Renowned for offering an extensive menu ranging from traditional sweets like anmitsu to casual Chinese dishes, hearty rice bowls, and filling set meals, it's a favorite among diners of all ages. Many regulars proudly say they've visited Hanaya with three generations of their families.

The most popular sweet treat is Cream Anmitsu, featuring smooth agar jelly made from agarweed harvested in Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture; silky-smooth sweet red bean paste made from Tokachi-grown beans; lightly salted red peas that accentuate sweetness; and brown sugar syrup from Okinawa. Rich yet refreshingly balanced, it can be enjoyed to the very last bite.

Another signature item is their deliciously crispy and juicy Gyoza (fried dumplings), generously filled with flavorful ingredients and savory meat juices wrapped in handmade dough.
