A highlight of the hotel is the Hyakudan Kaidan (100 Steps Staircase), a Tokyo-designated tangible cultural property. Built in 1935, this wooden structure features a 99-step staircase corridor leading to seven rooms, each uniquely adorned with traditional Japanese art, including breathtaking wall and ceiling paintings. Note: Hyakudan Kaidan is open to the public only during special exhibitions.
