Shirakaba Resort Ikenotaira Hotel

A large resort hotel on the shores of Lake Shirakaba at an elevation of Approx. 1,400 meters. A new main building opened in 2023.
“Natural Hot Spring Koten no Yu” features gender-separated indoor baths, “Kino Yu” and “Ishi no Yu” (swapped by schedule), as well as the mixed open-air bath “Kohan Konyoku Sora,” which guests use while wearing swimsuits or bathing clothes. You can enjoy an infinity open-air bath that feels one with the lake, a scenic sauna with self löyly, and a cold bath filled with flowing underground water from Mt. Tateshina, all while taking in spectacular lakeside views.

Meals are served buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes across 13 specialty shops and corners, including items prepared in the live kitchen, offering different seasonal flavors throughout the year. The guest rooms in the new main building have a Japanese-modern style, with lakeview rooms and suites available. The existing Annex and East Building are also available for families and groups, making it easy to choose the stay style that suits you best.

At the indoor hot spring street “Shirakaba Nakamise,” you can browse Shinshu local sake, crafts, and more, and enjoy the atmosphere of a hot spring town without leaving the hotel. Nearby, Ikenotaira Family Land and Ikenotaira Snow Park are right next door, offering seasonal activities year-round. It is a full-scale resort where nature, hot springs, food, and fun all come together.
