An urban park with a total area of Approx. 30 hectares, spread across the middle slopes of Mount Ikoma on the border between Nara and Osaka prefectures. Known as a forest resort surrounded by rich nature.

The park features a field athletic course with Approx. 30 types of play equipment, designed to make use of the mountain’s natural slopes so that both children and adults can take on the challenge. Its varied walking zones include Manyo no Michi, Seseragi no Hiroba, the Flower Clock, and Dodo Pond, making it another great place to enjoy a walk while experiencing nature through the seasons.

The Outdoor Activity Center is equipped with tent sites, wood deck sites, and an auto campground, along with a barbecue area and lodges that can be used without bringing your own gear. At the Fureai Center, an overnight training facility, you can also use the bath and restaurant, which is a welcome feature for a wide range of stay styles from day trips to overnight stays. The park also displays an old cable car vehicle that once actually ran on the Ikoma Cable, and visitors can even enter the car.

Despite being conveniently close to the city, it offers an environment where you can enjoy nature experiences and outdoor activities all at once.
