Mercure Toyama Tonami Resort & Spa is a resort hotel in Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture. It reopened under a new brand in April 2024. Set on elevated ground, the hotel overlooks the Tonami Plain stretching across western Toyama Prefecture. Another highlight is the changing scenery throughout the four seasons.

The hotel has a hot spring facility covering Approx. 262 square meters, complete with a large public bath, open-air bath, and sauna. The open-air bath, Etchu Tonamino Onsen, uses water blended from two hot spring sources. The water is kept at a lower temperature, allowing guests to relax while taking in views of the Tonami Plain. On the second floor, there is a buffet restaurant where guests can enjoy local specialties such as white shrimp kakiage and Toyama Black ramen.

There are 249 guest rooms in total. The interiors feature a clean Japanese-modern design. Guests can also use the exclusive lounge. With countryside views, hot springs, and great local food, this hotel offers a full taste of Toyama’s charm.

However, you may use it only if your tattoos can be fully covered with two 8 cm × 10 cm cover stickers.
