Mishaka Pond
The pond is at an altitude of 1500ｍ in the mountain and its name originally came from Shinto ceremony in which deer is given as an offering.
It's a really peaceful and untouched spot. The water is so clear, it's like a mirror. Lots of professional photographers come here to shoot.
Mosaic Tile Museum Tajimi
Mosaic tiles are small tiles with less than 50 cm² of surface area. This museum opened in 2016 in Kusahara-cho, Tajimi City, which produces the most mosaic tiles in Japan.
The magic of mosaics is amazing! They create all kinds of unexpected fun.
Kyoto Railway museum
Since the opening of Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum in 1972, it had been dubbed SL’s mecca. Then, it was remodeled into the Kyoto Railway Museum in 2016. Under their fundamental concept, “the hub of railway culture that progresses with its community,” you can learn railway history, safety and technology through amazing hands-on experience.
There are tons of antique trains here. The collection is impressive, and the explanations are detailed and interesting. You can even watch how trains are managed at Kyoto Station.
