You can enjoy authentic udon noodles in a self-service style at “Tsuru mochi Udon”. It is using 100% flour from Hokkaido in its original noodles and it prides itself in the slippery yet thick and chewy texture of the noodles.

Fukagawa Fudodo
Fukagawa Fudodo is a Tokyo branch of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Narita of Chiba Prefecture. It’s known locally as “Fukagawa’s Fudo-sama.” Every day at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm the temple holds goma fire rituals, in which wooden sticks are burnt alongside the beating of taiko drums, and visitors can participate and join in prayer for free. The main temple building contains around 10,000 small crystal figures of Fudomyo.
The architecture is really unique, and the taiko drums and fire ritual make for a special prayer experience.
There's also a shopping street in front of the temple where you can shop, eat, and take photos.
It's a really different kind of area.
Cabin House Yado
Cabin House Yado located in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The door uses card authentication for secure access. Linen and amenities are available for 200 yen and 100 yen respectively, so you can stay without any baggage. It's also a plus that they offer a service to hold your luggage before check-in and after check-out.
Being able to store my luggage for free is such a convenient and practical service.
[Closed Down]Kamakura Guesthouse
This facility was built by craftsmen called “miyadaiku,” who specialize in traditional architecture like shrines and temples. The building was originally used as a restaurant for Akita cuisine, but it is now used as a guesthouse, a place for the people of the world to come and rest. It was also built without using a single nail; instead, it uses fitted wood framing. This method of construction leaves no room for errors, so it can’t be achieved by a subpar carpenter.
