Since it wasn't autumn foliage season yet, there weren't too many tourists around.
The natural scenery, especially the rock formations, was really impressive.
There are also shops selling souvenirs like honey and other local treats.

Shosenkyo Ropeway
Over in Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park you’ll find the Shosenkyo Ropeway volleying travelers up to Shosenkyo Gorge, a Nationally Designated Special Place of Scenic Beauty famed as Japan’s most beautiful gorge.
The ropeway ride was pretty thrilling.
Once you reach the top, the views are absolutely breathtaking!
I took a break at the Fukusenjin Cafeteria and enjoyed some dango.
Also stopped by Yakumo Shrine for a quick visit. 🙏 -
