The hallways at Aomoriya are filled with goldfish lanterns. At night there’s also a paid festival show, and you can join in—it’s super lively and so much fun!
The food was also really delicious.
Walking around the property is easy and relaxing. Especially soaking in the foot bath while looking out at the lake—what a treat for both body and mind. It’s truly a different kind of experience.

Strolling around here, you can see the streets that once flourished because of the silver mine.

The beluga whale show with the happy bubble was really impressive. You can also see penguins, sea lions, stingrays, jellyfish, and more up close.

Known as the Little Kyoto of the San-in region, this area has lots of koi in the canals, and they’ll follow you when you get close. There are fewer tourists here, so you can enjoy a relaxing time strolling around at your own pace.
