Juhyo (Rime) in Zao (Yamagata Prefecture)
Zao in Yamagata Prefecture is one of the largest mountain resorts in the Tohoku region. In winter, Zao is a mecca for winter sports, and many tourists come to enjoy the "juhyo," or tree ice formed by snow and ice on the trees.
Seeing it in person is seriously mind-blowing—way more impressive than the photos. Just a massive stretch of pure white, like you’re on an ice-and-snow planet.

Kabukicho
Kabukicho is the entertainment district that sits just steps from the east exit of Shinjuku Station. It’s a major hub for izakaya pubs, amusement centers and nightlife spots to enjoy after hours. With neon signs lit up through the entire night, it’s earned the nickname of “the city that never sleeps”.
If it’s your first time, it can honestly be kind of shocking.
The neon lights are so bright it feels like daytime. -

Wing Bay Otaru
Located in Otaru's Bay Area in Chikkō, Wing Bay Otaru is a large complex built on the former freight yard of JR Otaru-Chikkō Station, directly connected to the station for convenient access.
The shopping center is right by the sea, so the views are amazing. It's so relaxing to shop and enjoy the ocean at the same time!
