You can get a close-up view of the whirlpools and the Onaruto Bridge here. The Awaji Island onion beef burger, which is ranked number one, tastes fantastic. The onions are a local specialty—super sweet and not spicy at all.

The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the huge sacred tree. The energy here is really powerful!

TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY
Developed by JR East, Takanawa Gateway City is a bold urban redevelopment project transforming a former train yard into a 9.5-hectare next-generation smart city. Centered around the newly completed Takanawa Gateway Station, the complex is slated for four high-rise towers and a low-rise cultural facility, bringing together commercial spaces, hotels, offices, residences, a multipurpose cultural center, and an international conference hall.
It's really spacious—has the scale of Shinagawa Station but with the luxurious vibe of Ebisu.

Onomichi Emonya
“Onomichi Emonya” is a souvenir shop with the most variety of products in Onomichi, holding about 500 different items from all around the area. “Emon” means “high-quality product” in the Onomichi dialect. The finest selection of items at “Onomichi Emonya” reflects this definition. It’s appeal also comes from the vintage building, a renovated merchant house from the Meiji era.
This is a big souvenir shop with a huge variety of stuff. I was worried about my luggage being overweight, so I couldn't buy as much as I wanted.
