The location is super convenient. If you love Sanrio, you have to visit! There are so many themed spots for taking cute photos. The shows are fantastic—even if you don't understand Japanese, just watching how dedicated the performers are makes it worth the ticket.

Hakone Sekisyo
After Ieyasu Tokugawa entered the Kanto region and established the Edo shogunate, the importance of the Tokaido highway connecting Edo and Kyoto increased, and it was necessary to strictly control the entry and exit of people to maintain the security of Edo.
This was a military checkpoint in the Edo period. I don't know much about history, so there wasn't much for me to see.
But it's a nice place for a walk and to pass the time.
I'd recommend it more for people who are interested in Japanese history. -

Atami Castle
The castle tower shines brilliantly on the hill of Atami. It's a five-story, nine-story "Tenshukaku (castle tower)”-like tourist facility built in 1959.
I heard this is a 'fake castle' built for tourists,
but since I was in Atami, I figured I might as well check it out.
Turns out it was actually pretty fun, especially if you have kids—they won't be disappointed!
The view over all of Atami is awesome too. Definitely recommend! -

This spot is the world’s first ever museum dedicated to the worldwide beloved fairy tale, “The Little Prince”. It was opened June 29th, 1999 to celebrate 100 years since the birth of the story’s author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
