My throat often feels scratchy, so I always keep a small pack of these in my purse. The mint flavor is super refreshing and really soothes my throat.

Shiroebitei
A specialty restaurant focused on shiroebi (white shrimp) cuisine, located inside Toyama Station’s “Kitokito Market Toya Marche.” Opened in 2015, it serves dishes that bring out the white shrimp’s natural sweetness and texture. Its signature item, the “Shiroebi Tempura Rice Bowl,” uses plenty of white shrimp. To preserve the shrimp’s light sweetness and the dish’s visual appeal, the batter and seasoning are kept to a minimum, enhancing the shrimp’s flavor.
It tasted slightly sweet and super refreshing. The side dishes were solid too. I felt really satisfied after finishing the whole set, but not overly full.
Overall, it’s the kind of seafood place that feels easygoing, clean, and delicious. If you’re craving white shrimp, this spot is a pretty safe bet. -
Tokaikotobuki “Ogura Toast Langue de Chat”
A classic Nagoya souvenir with more than 100 million pieces sold, this popular sweet draws inspiration from Ogura Toast-a beloved menu item with over 80 years of history in Nagoya’s deep-rooted café culture, featuring thick toast topped with butter and sweet red bean paste.
The outer layer is a crispy, fragrant cookie, and inside there's a sweet filling with red bean and butter flavors. It really tastes like a mini version of Ogura Toast, but even crispier, sweeter, and more like a snack. Super tasty!

Kiyosu Castle
In 1405, the Shugo (governor) of Owari (current Aichi prefecture), Yoshishige Shiba, dominated this castle as an annex of Shimotsu Castle.
Just being able to try on samurai armor made the ticket totally worth it.
