Mt. Hiei sits right on the border between Shiga and Kyoto. To reach the summit, you need to take a cable car and then transfer to a ropeway. As you go higher, the scenery keeps changing. From the top, you get a clear view of Lake Biwa.

Tadamoto Park
The only location in Kagoshima Prefecture selected as one of the "Top 100 Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots in Japan," this popular spot offers beautiful views of the city from its hillside location. From late March to early April, approximately 800 cherry trees planted within the park bloom beautifully.
Tadamoto Park is perfect for a stroll and cherry blossom viewing! In spring, the cherry blossoms are absolutely dreamy and the photos come out stunning. The whole place is clean and comfortable, great for families to relax and enjoy. On a nice day, having a picnic here is awesome too!

Tempozan Ferris wheel
With a height of 112.5 meters and a diameter of 100 meters, this is one of the world's largest Ferris wheels, lasting about 15 minutes per lap. On a clear day you can see as far as Mount Ikoma in Nara Prefecture to the east, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in Hyogo Prefecture to the west, Kansai International Airport to the south, and Mount Rokko in Hyogo Prefecture to the north. While you are here in Osaka, you can feel as if you are taking a round trip around the Kansai area.
If you're brave enough, you can choose the transparent glass cabin.
