Dotonbori
Crab, octopus, cow, crane….these are just a few of the oversized 3D signboards that make up the look and feel of the bustling Dotonbori Area. Its packed with a number of eateries along the northern Dotonbori River and main street along its southern side.
There are tons of delicious foods here!
You can also take a sightseeing boat ride along the canal nearby. -

Isawa Hot Spring Resort
In January 1961, hot water gushed from a vineyard in the town of Isawa and flowed out into a nearby river, creating the "Aozora Onsen," which is said to be the beginning of Isawa Onsen. It is one of the largest hot spring resorts in Yamanashi, the land of hot springs, with more than 30 inns and hotels, ranging from budget inns to large hotels with swimming pools so you can enjoy various hot springs.
At the Isawa Onsen Tourist Center, you can try 16 different local wines for just a few hundred yen. Great value!

Lake Kawaguchi (Kawaguchi-ko)
Lake Kawaguchi is known as one of the five Fuji lakes and is a popular spot because of its spectacular view of Mt. Fuji. The lakeside is filled with cherry blossoms in the spring, purple lavender in early summer, and autumn leaves in the fall, making each season a different and beautiful sight. Lake Kawaguchi is also known for having the only "island" and "bridge" in the Fuji Five Lakes.
Every March, this is also one of the best spots for cherry blossom viewing.
