Chofu Fireworks Festival
The Chofu Fireworks Festival was first held in 1933. Although it was suspended during the war, it was revived in 1954 as the All-Japan Export Promotion Fireworks Competition, and since 1982 it has been celebrated under the name “Chofu Fireworks.” Its most distinctive feature is the Hanabi-llusion, a collaboration of fireworks and music set against the majestic natural backdrop of the Tama River. Each year, fireworks are launched to different themes, delighting the audience. Around 10,000 fireworks are set off every time, making it one of the most spectacular displays in Japan.
The fireworks were absolutely stunning! The show lasted for over an hour, and I was completely satisfied. Honestly, it was even more impressive than the New Year's fireworks in Taiwan. The whole sky lit up—it was amazing.

Shinjuku Golden Gai
A traditional, retro-style bar district in Shinjuku's Kabukicho, where about 300 wooden row-house style shops line the narrow alleyways. Renowned for offering an intimate encounter with Japanese culture.
This experience gave me a whole new perspective on Tokyo's nightlife. It also deepened my understanding of the city's diversity and vibrant energy.

Alley-Karasukojima
This park is one of the components of the Japan Heritage Yokosuka, Kure, Sasebo, Maizuru: A Town Where You Can Experience the Dynamism of Japan's Modernization, and you can feel the remnants of Kure, which once flourished as a military port.
This place is super impressive. It was my first time seeing a submarine!
