The whole area feels messy and dirty, with lots of fake goods around. It's easy to get disappointed if you're not careful.

Toyota Kaikan
A corporate exhibit hall introducing Toyota Motor Corporation, which aims to “mass-produce happiness.” Through videos, displays, and hands-on exhibits, you can explore a wide range of initiatives, including the latest environmental and safety technologies, mobility, and social contribution activities. Another highlight is the many new models on display at all times that you can easily hop into the driver’s seat, passenger seat, or back seat.
Overall it feels very “neat and orderly” in that Japanese way. It would be even better if there were more food options or a café area to take a break.

Shibushi Fumoto Garden Fukuyama Family Garden
During the late Edo period, the Fukuyama family held the highest status among samurai families residing in the Shibushi Fumoto district. Their legacy endures through the beautifully preserved Fukuyama Family Garden, one of the historic samurai gardens collectively recognized as a nationally designated scenic site, known as the Shibushi Fumoto Gardens.
Stones, moss, pine trees—every corner looks like a scene from a Japanese drama. The garden is kept spotless, and you can really see the owner's attention to detail.

Sagiridai Observatory
An observation deck built at the foot of Mt. Yufu, formed by two peaks to the east and west, along Prefectural Route 11, a well-known scenic drive. From an elevation of Approx. 680 m, you can take in a panoramic view of the Yufuin townscape. The sweeping views are impressive, and the beauty of the surrounding wilderness is just as captivating.
Coming up early in the morning was totally worth it. The whole Yufuin town was surrounded by a sea of clouds—like a fairytale!☁️✨
