It's a bit pricier than the main building, but everything is super clean and the facilities are new. The overall environment is pretty nice.

Hanamikoji-dori Street
Hanami-koji Street is a main street crossing Gion north to south from Sanjo to Kenninji Temple. It is “koji” (small alley), but the street is wide and lively with lots of stores hosting many tourists. The Teahouse district still maintains the traditional ambience in the district from Shijo-dori to the south. The original teahouses were on Shijo-dori and to the north of it, which were gathered to the current southern district in Meiji and Taisho Periods.
If you take photos without permission, you might get fined. Be careful!

Wakasa Kura Dori (Street)
These earthen storehouses with white walls stand in the National Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings. The area still carries the distinct image of the former prosperous post town.
If you love traditional Japanese architecture and the peaceful, simple vibe of the countryside, this place is perfect for you.

Hotel New Otani Makuhari
Hotel New Otani Makuhari is located in the center of the new commercial district Makuhari in Chiba.
There are lots of hotel facilities you can use, and there's a direct bus to Disneyland, which is really convenient.
