After visiting the Ghibli Museum, I stopped by here. Lots of people come with their kids and pets. It's a fantastic park for relaxing.

Fukuroda no Taki (Fukuroda Falls)
Fukuroda Falls, a prominent tourist spot in Ibaraki, are located in Taki River which stems from Kuji River running through Okukuji District. The great waterfall is 120m-tall and 73m-wide, one of Japan's Three Great Waterfalls along with Kegon Falls in Tochigi and Nachi Falls in Wakayama. It was also selected into 100 best waterfalls in Japan.
There's a 276-meter-long tunnel inside the waterfall area, and you can walk straight from the tunnel exit to the viewing platform. It's really convenient and safe.

The historic fireworks competition has been held in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture since 1925 (Taisho 14). Fireworks professionals from all over the country gather to showcase their skills.
You can enjoy not only traditional fireworks shows but also displays that combine modern technology and art. It's a unique experience.

Naritasan Shinshoji Temple
This historic temple, which was established in 940 by High Priest Kanchō, is rooted in prayers for the pacification of the Taira no Masakado revolt.
Every New Year, this temple has the second highest number of visitors after Meiji Shrine. The main street is lined with souvenir shops and restaurants. It's definitely the most iconic temple in the Narita area.
