Kobe Portopia Hotel
A city resort hotel on Port Island, close to Sannomiya in central Kobe. With over 700 guestrooms across the Main Building and South Building, the lineup includes an Executive Floor on the top level, standard rooms, spacious deluxe rooms with balconies, and distinctive concept rooms designed for a comfortable stay. Dining is equally varied, led by a buffet restaurant featuring plenty of locally sourced Hyogo ingredients, along with a wide selection of Japanese, Western, and Chinese options.
The lobby is impressive and spotless. The moment you walk in, it feels like a luxury hotel.
The room was super spacious, and we could even see the harbor from the window—felt so very “Kobe”! -
Omotesando Hills
Featuring an impressive architectural design suited to Omotesando’s elegant and fashionable high street image, Omotesando Hills has been a landmark in the area since its opening in 2006.
This is a masterpiece by Tadao Ando, blending old and new architectural styles. Omotesando is so trendy and stylish. I came to Tokyo this time just to enjoy and appreciate it.

Ashikaga Flower Park
At Ashikaga Flower Park, you can enjoy the sight of all kinds of seasonal flowers, which adorn the park according to eight themes: "Early Spring", "The Spring Flower Festival", "A Tale of the Wisteria", "Rainbow Garden", "Blue and White Garden", "The Flower Faeries Who Float By the Water", "Purple Garden", and "The Garden of Illuminated Flowers". The park is a popular location, enjoying not only local visitors, but those from abroad.
Ashikaga Flower Park is rated as one of the world's top ten dream destinations. The 150-year-old wisteria tree is the highlight. Unfortunately, I visited near the end of the blooming season. I hope I get another chance to come back!
