You see this kind of rusk a lot in Japan, but this shop's version is really tasty. They have all kinds of flavors, so it's perfect as a souvenir for friends and family!

Mt. Nokogiri Ropeway
The Mt. Nokogiri Ropeway connects the summit and base of Mt. Nokogiri in Approx. 4 minutes and is known as the gateway to sightseeing on Mt. Nokogiri with views over Tokyo Bay. From the observation deck at the summit station, you can enjoy sweeping views of the Miura Peninsula and Izu Oshima across Tokyo Bay, and on clear days, even Tokyo Skytree on the opposite shore beyond Cape Futtsu, as well as Mt. Fuji. Mt. Nokogiri has been selected as one of the Kanto Fuji View 100 Spots, and early morning service is operated for the first sunrise of the year.
Taking the ropeway up saves you a ton of energy. Otherwise, hiking up Mt. Nokogiri will leave you seriously questioning your life choices.

Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel
The renowned architect Kenzo Tange designed this 38-story tower hotel. Its convention hall is one of the largest in Japan and often used for events, exhibitions, international conference, etc.
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel while exploring the Lake Biwa area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the view is great, and breakfast was pretty good too!

Mt. Yoshino
Mt. Yoshino is acclaimed as the best spot to see cherry blossoms in all of Japan. In the spring, the entire mountain is washed with flowering trees as they bloom from the Shimosenbon (the lower 1,000 trees) at the foothills up to the Okusembon (the inner 1,000 trees).
Japan has a lot of cherry blossom spots, but Mt. Yoshino is covered with sakura and looks absolutely stunning in spring!
