Shioyazaki Lighthouse
First lit in 1899, this lighthouse stands 27 meters tall and shines with a 440,000-candela beam. Known for its sturdy reinforced concrete structure and striking white exterior, it has long been beloved as a symbol of the surrounding coast.
The scenery is absolutely beautiful. From near the lighthouse, you can see the whole ocean, and when the weather is nice, it feels super cinematic.
It’s a great place to take a slow walk and just zone out. After climbing up, the view is amazing, and the sea breeze feels so nice~ -
Kanazawa Maimon Sushi Main Branch
Situated in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Kanazawa Maimon Sushi Main Branch is one of Hokuriku’s most renowned conveyor belt sushi restaurants.
Highly recommend! The sushi here is super fresh, and the fish is thick and flavorful. Every bite is packed with freshness. Whether it's the sweet shrimp, tuna, or sea urchin, everything tastes amazing—totally lives up to the hype.
Watching the chefs make sushi right in front of you is really cool and kind of soothing. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, not stuffy at all, and the staff are super friendly.
Prices are a bit higher than regular conveyor belt sushi, but the quality makes it totally worth it. If you want authentic and fresh sushi in Kanazawa, this spot should definitely be on your food list! -
Jufukuji Temple (Nagasaki)
Known for its "Sen Toro Matsuri" (Festival of a Thousand Lanterns) held every year on August 23 and 24, featuring a dazzling 22-meter tower adorned with approximately 3,500 lanterns.
Jufukuji Temple is peaceful and rustic, with a garden that has a Zen vibe. It's a nice place to clear your mind and take photos. Not a major tourist spot, but it has its own charm. If you like quiet places, you'll enjoy it here.
