Driving across the Amakusa Gokyo bridges is just awesome! The ocean views along the way are stunning, especially at sunset. The vibe is amazing, and snapping photos while driving feels like being in a movie!

Kanamori Bay Cruise
When it comes to Hakodate’s best views, Mt. Hakodate often takes the spotlight-but this bay cruise, which circles Hakodate Bay, offers a fresh perspective. In just about 15 minutes, you can enjoy a full-fledged cruising experience with scenery that feels entirely different from land.
The ride was really comfortable, and the ocean views along the way were beautiful. The sunset in the evening especially had such a great atmosphere, and it’s perfect for photos.
It didn’t feel too crowded on board, and it was so relaxing to enjoy the harbor night view with the sea breeze.
That said, if the weather is bad or if you go in winter when the wind is strong, it gets unbelievably cold, so I’d definitely recommend wearing something warm before boarding.
Overall, it’s a really worthwhile experience. The pace is leisurely and never feels rushed. -
Tsuki Usagi no Sato
An interactive theme park where you can freely meet and pet around 50 rabbits roaming in the outdoor Rabbit Plaza. Just watching the rabbits relax and wander at their own pace is enough to make you feel calm and refreshed. One of the most popular activities is the feeding experience, where you can buy rabbit food and treats from a vending machine and feed them. You can also enjoy reservation-free activities such as the Korokoro Rabbit Tumbler Doll, which you can decorate however you like on a washi paper base, and the daily can badge-making experience.
Overall, it’s a great place for rabbit lovers. There are so many cute rabbit-themed touches, and you can also see real rabbits there. The park isn’t very big, so you can probably see everything in about 1–2 hours. It’s also a nice spot for photos and has that relaxed Japanese countryside feel.
The souvenir area has tons of stuff, and the rabbit merchandise can seriously make you go a little overboard.
That said, if you’re not especially into rabbits, it might feel like there’s not that much to do. It’s more of a smaller attraction. -
