Fukuoka Tower
This landmark in Fukuoka City was built as a monument of 1989 Asia Pacific Expo (Yokatopia). It is 234m-tall and the top floor has an observation area with a 360-degree panorama over Fukuoka City.
The view from Fukuoka Tower is honestly stunning 😭. Take the elevator up and you get a full view of Fukuoka City. On a clear day, it’s absolutely beautiful! Great spot for photos, too.

Yunohama Onsen
This historic hot spring town traces its origins back to the Tenki era (1053-1058), when a local fisherman discovered a turtle bathing in the warm waters along the seaside. Today, Yunohama Onsen is one of the premier hot spring resorts in the prefecture, with numerous inns and hotels lining the coastline along the Sea of Japan.
The hot spring water is gentle and great for your skin and relaxation. It's an excellent choice for experiencing Japanese onsen culture.
