There aren't as many types of fish as I expected, but the way they display everything is really innovative. The interactive projections are pretty unique, and kids absolutely love it.

Jodogahama Beach
"Jodogahama" is a rock inlet facing the Sanriku coast, a representative scenic spot of Japan. Around 1680, the name is said to have originated when Reikyo, a Buddhist monk, upon seeing its white rock beach, beautifully clear sea, and otherworldly complex terrain, exclaimed that it was reminiscent of the "Pure Land Paradise".
The seawater here is incredibly clear, and the white pebble shoreline really does feel like a paradise on earth.

Ikebukuro Maruka
A long-established soba restaurant founded in 1969, the store has an open, Japanese style atmosphere. The restaurant serves noodles with a particular texture, called “Shiko-shiko soba noodles,” which has a high reputation for its excellent flavor and firmness. Many customers come from a distance to eat their soba.
Both the soba and udon here are delicious!

Kongobuji
One of the holy Buddhist places opened by Reverend Kōbō Daishi Kūkai. The whole Mt. Koya above 800m-sea-level is the premises. With the main Kondo hall at the center, 117 sub-temples are built. Kongobuji temple’s roof is made of layers of cedar bark and a wooden water barrel is placed on the roof in case of fire.
The temple grounds are huge! Walking around feels really relaxing and peaceful. The Japanese rock garden is beautiful—definitely worth a visit.
