Gate City Ohsaki
This is a large complex linked directly to the southern ticket gate of JR Osaki Station. It features a zone of restaurants and shops spread between the basement level and the third floor, enveloped by the East Tower and the West Tower. The structure from the basement to the third floor is designed with an atrium, and events such as concerts frequently take place in the square.
Not many people around, so it’s really comfortable to walk.
Compared with Shinjuku or Shibuya, it’s much quieter here and you don’t get squeezed by crowds.
Direct access from Osaki Station makes transfers smooth, and you don’t get wet even when it rains. -

Okutama Onsen Moeginoyu
Located about a 10-minute walk from Okutama Station, this day-trip hot spring is an ideal spot to relax after engaging in tourism activities or hiking in Okutama. The facility is popular for its location convenient for visitors to Okutama, and its open-air bath offers a scenic view of the Okutama mountains.
The open-air bath faces the mountains, and the air is so fresh it feels like it's cleaning your lungs.

Kagura Ski Resort
Located in Yuzawa, Minamiuonuma District, Niigata Prefecture, Kagura Ski Resort is a vast resort divided into three areas: Kagura, Mitsumata, and Tashiro. It offers runs up to 6,000 meters long, with a total of 30 courses. The resort is known for its abundant snowfall, with an average snow depth of around 350 cm throughout the season.
The gondolas are super convenient, so you don't have to walk much. The downside is that when it's windy, it's insanely cold up top—make sure to dress warmly.
