Yashi no Yu is a seafront resort hotel with a sweeping view of Sukumo Bay.

Especially, the Shikoku’s top terraced bath with panoramic view is worth checking out. The three-tiered terraced bath is made with granite and the bed-like shallow bath is set on the lowest terrace at the very front. Enjoy a precious time in a soothing bath overlooking the Sukumo sea, which keeps changing with the time of the day.

Hinoki bath is another fantastic open-air bath which offers a view of the deep blue sea from its spacious bathtub. These two baths alternate between men or women every day so that overnight guests can experience both. Although, a day visit is also allowed. Opening hours are 6 am to 8:30 am and 1 pm to 9 pm (last entrance is 8:30 pm).

The restaurants serve dinner with carefully selected fresh ingredients. Their exquisite dishes use various freshly caught seafood from Sukumo Bay. The restaurant also offers a lunch menu for day-trippers, including a set meal featuring straw-roasted bonito. It’s a great place to stop by on a road trip.
