Tokyo Gate Bridge
Tokyo Gate Bridge is a truss bridge that stands out with its distinctive form, spanning across Tokyo Bay. Located between Koto Ward's Wakasu and Koto Ward's Umi no Mori in the Central Breakwater, it boasts a total length of 2,618 meters and a height of about 88 meters. The bridge was inaugurated in 2012 and is toll-free for vehicles.
Up to 32,000 cargo trucks can cross in a single day. The bridge is super stable and durable. 👍
Mt. Moiwa Ropeway (Observation deck)
Mt. Moiwa is located at the almost center of Sapporo. A Swiss-made mini cable car designed to observe the forest runs to the altitude of 531m, this mountain is easily reached to the peak so loved by Sapporo citizens, there are five mountain trails to go up to the peak.
For the Ainu people, Mt. Moiwa is considered a sacred and revered mountain.
Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden
Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden is home to 3,000 tropical trees and flowers of about 300 species in the park. Tropical plants are grown in greenhouses, where visitors can appreciate tropical fruits such as bananas, flowering trees and cacti, as well as aquatic life such as piranhas and tropical fish. It is warm all year round regardless of Hokkaido's climate, making it a great place for those who do not like the cold.
The Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden is located in the Yunokawa Onsen area, and there are over 300 different species in the park!
Sapporo Maruyama Zoo
In 1950, a moving zoo hosted by the Ueno Zoological Gardens from Tokyo was held in Sapporo. Due to its popularity, the “Maruyama Zoo” opened the next year in Hokkaido. It was initially a children’s park, but soon expanded with animals, and other venues. It is now a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
During winter, the zoo closes earlier—only open until 4:00 p.m.
Lake Okutama
Completed in 1957 (Showa 32), Lake Okutama is a man-made lake created by damming the upper reaches of the Tama River with the Ogouchi Dam. Its official name is "Ogouchi Reservoir".
Lake Okutama is a man-made lake, and there’s also the largest limestone cave in the Kanto area nearby. You can even join a day tour—super cool!
Oishi Park
Located on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the Oishi district of Yamanashi Prefecture, this scenic spot offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji across the lake. The park, with its photogenic landscapes, attracts many tourists.
I love coming here~ You can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji and see beautiful flowers at the same time. The scenery is stunning!

Omogo Gorge
The Omogo Gorge, one of the largest canyons in Shikoku, spreads out at the southern foot of Mount Ishizuchi. It is located in the headwaters of the Niyodo River, which has been awarded the best water quality in Japan, and its crystal clear river is as beautiful as the Niyodo River. Walking courses have been established along the valley, so you can take a stroll while enjoying the emerald green stream and dynamic strange rocks.
The stream is crystal clear, and you can see all the way to the riverbed from the trail~~~
You can also catch some really beautiful autumn leaves here.
Otaru Canal Cruise
The Otaru Canal, completed in 1923 (Taisho 12) by reclaiming the offshore coast, is lined with historic stone and timber warehouses and remains a popular tourist attraction. A 40-minute tour on a cruise boat around this area is a popular choice among visitors.
Otaru is our favorite spot in Hokkaido~ There are so many traditional buildings that are over a hundred years old, and walking around here feels super relaxing and comfortable. You might just run into love around the corner~ l love
Kujukushima Aquarium Umi Kirara
Located within the "Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort," this aquarium allows visitors to experience the rich natural beauty of Kujukushima, a beautiful marine area with a complex ria coast and 208 islands.
Come explore the natural ecosystem of Kujukushima! The park is so big, you honestly can't see it all in just one day~
Korankei
Korankei is a valley on the Tomoe River, known as one of the premier spots for autumn foliage in Japan. It is said to have originated when the chief priest of Kojakuji Temple planted trees in 1634. Currently, about 4,000 trees turn red and yellow in the fall, presenting a breathtaking view.
Korankei shows off different colors in every season. In autumn, tons of trees turn red and yellow, and their reflections on the river are just gorgeous~
