Furano Hokkai Heso Matsuri
A quintessential summer event in Hokkaido, held annually on July 28th and 29th in Furano City, this festival celebrates Furano's location at the geographical center of Hokkaido, earning it the nickname "Heso of Hokkaido" (or the “navel” of Hokkaido in Japanese).
Each area of the festival has a different theme, like a bar zone, ramen section, and chef shows. It kind of feels like a big food event with lots of variety.

Nagoya Castle
One of the largest castles in Japan, built in the early Edo period on the orders of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo shogunate, the five-story castle tower is topped with shining two Kinshachi, one male and one female that has become a symbol of Nagoya.
The main keep is still under renovation, so you can't go up. I just took some photos in front of the plaza.

MIHO MUSEUM
It is an art museum standing in the green mountains of Shigaraki located in the southern part of Shiga prefecture. It houses about 3,000 pieces of ancient art from Egypt, Greece, Rome, West Asia, South Asia, and China, as well as Japanese art such as Buddhist art and tea ceremony art. About 250 of them are exhibited at all times.
Honestly, the museum's architecture and thoughtful design are even more impressive than the collection itself.
