Located right in front of the Tottori Sand Dunes, Takahama Cafe is a café known for its distinctive architecture by architect Kengo Kuma. It was created as a new landmark of the Tottori Sand Dunes.
Popular menu items include the Tottori Wagyu Yakiniku Burger and the Daisen Bacon Surprise Burger, both made with ingredients from Tottori Prefecture. The café also offers sweets such as cakes, bread, and soft serve ice cream. In summer, chilled sweets such as shaved ice are also available for a limited time. Everything inside the café, from the tables, chairs, and lighting to the restroom logo, is unified with Takahama Cafe’s original design. Tottori cedar is used as one of the materials, showcasing Kengo Kuma’s attention to detail throughout. There are 109 seats in total, with 23 on the first floor, 46 on the second floor, and 40 on the rooftop terrace. It is a space where you can appreciate the architecture while looking out over the Sea of Japan.
