SADO Futatsugame View Hotel

SADO Futatsugame View Hotel is a resort hotel in the Sotokaifu area at the northernmost tip of Sado Island. Set on a hill with sweeping views of Futatsugame, a scenic spot on the Sea of Japan, it offers an open, expansive setting surrounded by sea and sky. From spring to fall, it is also known as a place where you can enjoy both the sunset over the sea and the sunrise the next morning.

All guest rooms face the ocean and come in four types: Standard Twin, Superior Twin, Maisonette, and Log House. Meals feature seasonal seafood delivered from Washizaki Fishing Port and local vegetables, along with dishes that make the most of island ingredients such as Sado-grown Koshihikari rice, wild mountain vegetables, and seaweed. The hotel also has a large public bath filled with spring water from the Osado mountain range, where you can refresh both body and mind in natural water.

Below the hotel is Futatsugame Beach, where you can enjoy swimming and exploring the rocky shore in summer. Nearby scenic spots such as Onogame and the Sotokaifu Coast also make it an ideal base for drives and trekking. At night, it is especially popular as a place where you can experience nature up close, from fishing lights on the water to a sky full of stars.
